Civil Officium: Journal of Empirical Studies on Social Science is a self-supporting journal and does not receive funding from any institution/government. Hence, the management of the journal is solely financed by the Article Publishing Charge (APC) received from authors. APC covers the costs of assigning DOI numbers to the paper, professional copyediting, typesetting, publication on our website, marketing, and indexing in major databases, etc. To ensure the integrity of peer review, our team of reviewers does not receive any information about payments at any stage. Being an open access journal, the journal does not receive payment for subscription as the journal is freely accessible over the internet. The journal provides immediate, worldwide free access to all published manuscripts. Readers can view, download, print, and redistribute any article without any financial barrier, enabling greater distribution of an article. Authors are required to pay a fair manuscript handling fee for the processing of their articles. However, there are no submission charges, page charges, or colour charges. If the paper is accepted for publication, the author(s) will be asked to pay 100.000 IDR as article processing charges.
Refund Policy
Article Processing Charges are required after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. The journal will not issue refunds or cancellations of any kind after the publication of the manuscript. Payment Confirmation A payment confirmation will be sent through email to the corresponding author after the Article Processing Charges have been paid. You can hope to receive the confirmation within 2-3 working days after the payment has been processed.
